Golden Hour at NPC

The sun setting on the towering power plant is a sight to see during any time of the year, however, we have a sweet spot for those stunning summer photos. The sun beams radiate through golden hour photos and blow us away time and time again. The sun specks showcase the raw beauty of the photo and whoever it captures.

Our favorite spot at Northern Pacific Center for golden hour is of course the power plant, on the Northwest corner in the lush, long greenery. There are many other locations that go unnoticed! The eastside of the power plant in Aurora Fields, our outdoor ceremony location, is stunning and can be captured without the power plant in the background at all, which sets a different mood for your photos! Another great location opportunity is the Clocktower Building. If you’re looking for something different that no one else has in their photos, this is the spot for you!

During the summer months the sun sets around 9 p.m. in June, 8:45 p.m. in July and 8 p.m. by the end of August. Come spend your summer nights capturing the beauty of the sunset and our historic buildings!
